Itinerary
- Day 1: ROME—SPOLETO (ON) (D)
Private transfer from your hotel in Rome to Rome train station, to board your mid morning train to Spoleto, 1st. Class train ticket, one hour and half ride. Transfer from Spoleto train station to the hotel Clitunno. Enjoy a welcome drink and a short presentation on your cooking course from the hotel ‘s chef. Welcome dinner at the hotel and overnight.
- Day 2: SPOLETO COOKING CLASS (ON) (B, L, D)
After breakfast, around 11.00 am, start your introduction to classic Umbrian cooking with the presentation and preparation of some typical appetizers. Enjoy lunch tasting the dishes you have prepared. In the afternoon, around 3.30 pm, the emphasis will be on pasta , with the preparation of such dishes as Strangozzi (home made
pasta) with truffle sauce, gnocchi (potato dumpling) al sugo and many more. End your class around 5.30 pm, free time. Tonight dinner at San Lorenzo restaurant to celebrate your graduation. Overnight.
- Day 3: SPOLETO—EXCURSION TO MONTEFALCO—SPOLETO (ON) (B, L)
After breakfast , the day will be dedicated to the visit, tasting and shopping of the best Umbrian gastronomy products. An English speaking guide will escort you to discover old olive oil farms and tasting the Sagrantino di Montefalco red wine, visiting a beautiful winery in Montefalco, Lunch today will be in Montefalco. Return to the hotel in Spoleto around 3.30 pm, free time and dinner on your own. Overnight.
- Day 4: SPOLETO (B)
Breakfast and transfer to the railway station in Spoleto. End of services. (optional train tickets available for the destination you need)
INCLUDES: Transfers as per itinerary, 3 nights accommodation at 3* hotel in executive rooms, 3 buffet breakfasts (B), 2 lunches (L), 2 dinners (D) , private guide and transportation to Montefalco, 1st. Class train from Rome to Spoleto, porterage at hotel.
EXCLUDES: Customary tips to drivers.
